WOTW: Bolder Shoulders

bolder-shoulders

This week, my roommate and I have been preparing for the upcoming weekend. It’s finally Mardi Gras weekend and we’re so ready to party! Yes, even though I workout and like to eat healthy, I still party and have fun on the weekends. It’s good to reward yourself after a long hard week of work. 😉

We’ve been cleaning our apartment, going shopping for the weekend and getting groceries for the morning of Mardi Gras. Even though I have a lot going on this week, I’ve made working out and eat healthy a priority. When I have a big weekend coming up and I know I’m going to be getting little sleep and probably drinking quite a bit (Come on, I’m 24), I like to prepare my body the week before. I like to nourish my body with everything healthy and run/lift so I can be ready for a fun-filled weekend!

That being said, I’ve been running a lot this week, lifting heavier, and sweating out all the toxins I can. Today, I’m focusing on my shoulders. As a woman, I know we all enjoy working on our legs and glutes, but our arms need some lovin’ too! The following workout contains fewer reps than normal, but that’s because I increased the weight. Push yourself during this workout and your shoulders should be burning by the end of it (but amazing :)).
