Sometimes, running just doesn’t sound like something I want to do. At all. But I know I need to get my cardio in and endurance is something I want to work on.
For some reason, and I think this is common, I lack motivation during the holidays. I know I should get up and get moving, but snuggling up on the couch and drinking hot cocoa sounds so welcoming. However, I think I’ve found the cure to my lack of motivation. I find different ways to get my run in or my squats in. Dare I say it, fun ways!
Okay, it might not be party-fun, but it’s a great way to get my cardio in without spending a boring 30 minutes on the treadmill. And when I come up with new workouts, my motivation kicks in to get up and try it.
That being said, the workout of the week is really going to test your endurance while also hitting big muscles like your quads, glutes, core and arms. It’s a fast workout filled with power circuits. If you try it out, I’d love to hear how it went and if you made any modifications.
